FOOTBALL SHIRTS
Framing shirts, an art in its own. A well-framed shirt is a real eye-catcher and deserves attention. After the shirt has been stretched on cardboard, it is placed in the frame so that it comes into its own. Framed with a passepartout or tightly in a showcase frame, everything is possible. A photo, logo, medal in a cutout in the passepartout or just floating on the surface, everything is possible.
BAROQUE
Baroque frames are a work of art in themselves. Do you have a classic work of art where history needs to be secured?
We offer dozens of baroque frames in different colors and types that know how to strengthen your artwork!
FLOATING
With floating framing, the object is completely free of the substrate, glass and frame. We place the object on a mat board in the desired color which is several centimeters larger than the object. Between the passe-partout cardboard and the object we place an elevation of 5mm which is slightly smaller in surface area than the object to be framed, thus optically detaching it from the surface. Between the glass and the substrate is a deepening bar which creates depth so that when the object enters the frame there are free spaces between the object, the substrate and the glass so that the object floats freely in the frame. Ideally suited for papers with a scooped edge, objects where the detail extends to the edge but due to the beautiful appearance of this method of framing it is actually a wonderful way of framing anything.
PASSEPARTOUT
Not all objects lend themselves to being framed directly; the object then appears to be locked in the frame. In this case, a passe-partout is the perfect way to give the object some extra space. A passepartout creates peace between the object and the frame so that the whole comes together perfectly. A mat is also ideal for “blowing up” your object, or rather making it look bigger by choosing a wide mat edge, which makes it a real eye-catcher, especially with smaller objects. All our passe-partouts are acid-free and available in various colors and sizes which are cut on the inside at a 45-degree angle.
passepartout
frans biseaux
With French biseaux, the cut-out of the passepartout is thickened by a foam strip, which thickens the cut-out edge by another 5mm. This foam strip can then be covered with a tape in the color of the passepartout, but other colors can also be chosen. The thicker cut-out will give your object the museum-like appearance it deserves.
Box frames
Box frames are ideally suited for framing stretched canvases or canvas prints.
Whereas in the past modern paintings or canvas prints were often hung or placed without a frame, nowadays more and more people are opting for a tray frame, which gives a more luxurious look and adds more atmosphere. The L-shape of the profile ensures that the edges of the canvas remain free of the frame so that it remains calm and the work is not “locked up”. The tray frame is not only suitable for paintings or canvas prints, by placing a raise bar in the tray almost anything can be framed in these tray frames. Our picture frames are available in different colors, widths and depths.
